6 More Weeks

Only 6 more weeks from today! We had our birth education class on Saturday and actually had a lot of fun. We knew our instructor who is also a RN on the OB floor. When we took our tour of the delivery room she used Dave as the example to show all of the great features of the birthing bed, stirrups and all. I was SO disappointed that I didn't have my camera on me during the tour.
Hoping baby girl decides to drop down a little soon. She's really starting to crowd the stomach and lungs. Our next appointment is on Wednesday, so we'll see what dr. says about how we're doing.
The crib has finally arrived at Baby Depot in Fargo, so we'll pick that up on Saturday when we go up to meet with my Mom and Dad. Our goal is to get that set up next week.
Other than that Dave enjoyed his birthday yesterday at the Vikings game in Minneapolis. Poor guy only had 14th row tickets. Said it was a blast!

Winter Mornings

What a gorgeous morning we had today. I took these outside our front door. It was even prettier early in the morning when there was a thick layer of white frost on everything, but too dark to capture on camera. Wouldn't it be great if our whole winter looked as peaceful as this?

7 Weeks to Go!

Here I am at 33 weeks. Only 7 to go. We have our birth education class this weekend, so I think we'll feel a little more prepared after that. I'm still feeling good. Baby girl is running out of space though and she loves to wiggle and worm around, so it can be a little exhausting, but still lots of fun.

Dave and I tooka little trip down to Alexandria a little over a week ago to the Harley Davidson shop. Dave picked out his birthday gifts including some cool new riding boots. Just a few months before the Harley comes back out of storage. We're just in the truck in the parking lot.
We got a winter hat for baby, but I wanted to see how it looked on. Thanks Oscar for trying it on for me and posing for a picture. Doesn't he look happy? I promise, no more clothes or accessories bud.

Here's the nursery, aka work in progress. I did get most of the clothes and blankets washed up and put away, so it's better now. Just waiting for Auntie Julie to come home from California. She's going to do the painting for us.

Gotta have a dresser for all those tiny clothes, but first you have to put it together. It only came with a thousand pieces.

Merry Christmas!

It was so fun to see sister Betty over Christmas. Here we are both at about 31 weeks along sporting our baby bumps. It's been SO fun to go through our pregnancies together. We've compared notes on a lot of things. We are thankful all is going well for the both of us.

Isaiah and his new tractor - just like Grandpa's.

Isn't her Christmas outfit just too cute!
Proud Uncle Dave.

Mom and Dad at Christmas with the Fischers.

Thank you to Auntie Jenny and Grandma Bonnie for the nice baby shower. Baby G. has lots of new digs to sport. And check out this cake! Jenny made it out of diapers. Almost too cute to use. (I'm sure I'll change my mind if we're running low.)

And the gift bag was of a little baby plumber - plumber crack and all. I'll have to figure out how to frame it for baby's room.
