Oscar's New Do

Here's our little buddy pre-haircut. He just got way too hot. As you can see on his nose there's some melting snow. He was begging to go outside up to 7 times an evening and panting all night long.

He's definitely a snow dog.
So, we had him shaved down to his summer haircut. And then we (ok, I) decided he might get cold outside when the temps are subzero, so I got him a vest - not like one of those girly vests, it had skulls on it. Doesn't he look cool? and happy about this?

Apparently when you put clothes on a dog that has never worn them they become instantly paralyzed. And if you push them enough they will walk away, but they can't bend their legs. He went straight to the door. Running away maybe?

Happy 5th Birthday Oscar! My present to you is that I returned the vest and learned my lesson.

Welcome and Merry Christmas!

Welcome to our blog!! We finally got it going. It took some playing with a new camera and software, but here it is. We haven't taken a family picture in a long time, so we started there. Sorry Oscar, we didn't get you in on these.
A very Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends! We are crossing our fingers that our travel plans work out, but the pending blizzard coming in may make that difficult.

Thanks sister Christine for helping with the pictures.

Gotta get those Plumbers Inc. sweatshirts in for some advertising.

And thank you Christine and Dan for sharing your children with us. They sure are cute! Little Isaiah and Isabelle are such a joy to be around.

Since we haven't taken any pics of me pregnant yet we figured it was time. Here I am 30 weeks along. Just 10 more weeks to go. It's been really fast and I'm feeling good.

We hope to keep this up, especially when baby girl Gundersen arrives. That way we can keep everyone up to date on her arrival and firsts.
